Formation

‘Middletons’ was established circa1940 by Charles Henry Middleton who initially drove a tipper lorry delivering quarry materials to local builders. Son Reg a qualified mechanic joined the family business and was instrumental in developing Middleton’s into the largest and most respected demolition company in the area. For 25 years Reg also owned and ran with his wife Jean, C.R Middleton Transport a fleet of lorries dedicated to the delivery of goods on behalf of Pegler’s the brass founders based in Doncaster.

Family History

Reg’s son Graham joined the family business in the 1970’s, serving a full apprenticeship from initially working with the fleet engineer gaining his C.P.C (certificate of professional competence) to transition into the position of managing director. Whilst working with his father Graham developed another “arm” to the business providing skips for the trade, commerce and householders use.

Current Focus – Recycling and Accountability

Presently the company handles all aspects of waste disposal and recycling.

Graham is largely retired, his son joined the company after completing his degree and has since gained his WAMITAB L4 competence for running the waste site. Guy has developed additional recycling outlets for the business and brought onboard his wife’s legal expertise.
